Terms & Conditions
Booking Terms – $400.00 (non-refundable) deposit per person within 7 days of receiving your booking reservation. Once we’ve received your deposit, your group is booked!
Cancellation Policy –
· 30 or more days prior to Scheduled Departure – 25% of the total (less deposit a paid)
· 8-29 days prior to Scheduled Departure – 50% of the total (less deposit paid)
· 7 or less days prior to Scheduled Departure – 100% of the total (less deposit paid)
Track closure (pre departure) - In the unlikely event of a track closure due to severe weather or a natural disaster, we will endeavor to provide you with alternative arrangements, such as the following:
A variety of day hikes within Paparoa National Park.
A refund (less the non-refundable deposit)
Track closure (post departure) – If in the event of severe weather the group is forced to turn around due to DOC imposed restrictions, then the group will return to Punakaiki where meals will be provided and an alternative trip will be offered, subject to conditions. Accommodation in Punakaiki will be offered, subject to availability.
Covid-19 - If you are unable to travel due to restrictions put in place by the NZ Government, we will transfer your booking to a future date within the next 12 months for no penalty or transfer fee, subject to availability at the time of booking. Any difference in package pricing will need to be met. Alternatively, our standard cancellation policy above applies.
Changes to Terms and Conditions - The operator reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time without notifying customers. Any future bookings you may make will be made subject to the Terms and Conditions which apply at the time a booking is made and you are advised to read all the Terms and Conditions carefully on each occasion prior to making a booking.
